Website Building Errors

Here are the common problems when you try to build your site and what to do about it:

"Password failed for CloudFlare account. Try again or reset your password."

When we build your site for the Profit Platform, we also give you and setup a cloudflare.com account.  This isn't anything you need to worry or do anything about - we handle it for you.  But sometimes, someone may ALREADY have a Cloud Flare account for their email.  In that case, Cloud Flare won't allow us to use it unless the password you put matches your Cloud Flare password.

In that case, you need to check the box on the form next to where it says "Optional: Do you have a cloudflare.com account?"  Then you can use your Cloud Flare email and password which may be different than the one you want to use for your website.

If you don't know the password, you can go to https://www.cloudflare.com/a/forgot-password to recover it.  If you don't know what domain you added to Cloud Flare, you can try leaving that blank.

If you don't know the password, and Cloud Flare won't let you set a new password because you don't remember the domain you added to it, then you will either need to call them or use a separate email when you build your website with us.

"...is not a valid name for a website. You can use letters (abc), numbers (123) and dashes/hyphens (---). Spaces are not allowed and the domain can't begin or end with a dash."

These are the rules when trying to buy or setup a domain name. The internet registry doesn't allow certain sets of numbers or symbols in domain names.

The username already exists tied to a different email account. Either choose a different username or use the same email it was originally used with.

If you a certain no one else is using the username you are trying to use, make sure you use the same email as you did the first time. If not, just change the username to something more unique.
