<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are having trouble getting your affiliate links to work&nbsp;on your&nbsp;in post or slide in ads, make sure to check the following to be sure that the link has been properly entered.</p>
<p>By Default in your in post or slide in edit screen you will see something like this:</p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;">[su_button url="http://www.domain.com/alink" target="blank" style="flat" size="5" background="#ef2d2e" center="yes" icon="icon: chevron-right"]Click here &amp; register now![/su_button]</span></p>
<p>This is the unedited code for your link which you will need to change to use your affiliate offer.</p>
<p>When you go to change the code above you will want to make sure that you are fully replacing the text of the default link (http://www.domain.com/alink) with your new link so that it looks something like this:</p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;">[su_button url="<span style="background-color: #ffff00;">http://www.yourdomainname.com/yourprettylink</span>" target="blank" style="flat" size="5" background="#ef2d2e" center="yes" icon="icon: chevron-right"]Click here &amp; register now![/su_button]</span></p>
<p>Simply replace <span style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;">http://www.yourdomainname.com/yourprettylink</span> with your actual link which you have created in Pretty Link.</p>
<p>Wordpress may try to turn this into a link within your editor so that it looks like this:&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.yourdomainname.com/yourprettylink">http://www.yourdomainname.com/yourprettylink</a></p>
<p>If this happens you can correct it by highlighting the url within the editor and clicking the "Remove Link" button within your toolbar and this will force it to&nbsp;be entered as plain text which is what you want and it will instead show like this:</p>
<p>http://www.yourdomainname.com/yourprettylink</p>
<p>When pasting your link you might also see that instead of replacing the&nbsp;http://www.domain.com/alink&nbsp;text Wordpress will instead turn it into a link using the url you have entered as the target.</p>
<p>You can tell this is the case because the text will stay the same and when you place your mouse over the link a small window will open underneath showing the link you entered.</p>
<p>This is also incorrect and in order to fix this you can simply delete the original text entirely before pasting in your pretty link in to replace it, just be sure that the final product matches the correct example above.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em><strong>The quick: &nbsp;Buy email at the same place you bought your domain. &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></em></p>
<p>There are many factors when choosing your email provider:</p>
<ol>
<li>How secure is it from hackers?</li>
<li>How secure is it from governments or spy agencies?</li>
<li>How much do you want to pay?</li>
<li>Do you want to use your custom domain or is a free @gmail.com acceptable to you?</li>
<li>How reliable is it?&nbsp;&nbsp; Is there ever a time your email just doesn&rsquo;t work?&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Is it backed up and/or guaranteed to not lose your emails?</li>
</ol>
<p>If your email is linked up to bank accounts and/or anything personal to you, you must have in the very least a strong password and two-factor authentication turned on.&nbsp;&nbsp; This makes it so that if you sign into your email from a new device, you will receive a text message on your phone with a second pin number that you must enter.&nbsp; This keeps a hacker from logging in as you from the other side of the globe since they don&rsquo;t have your phone while a minimal inconvenience to you.</p>
<p>If you want the absolute best which ticks every box: use <a href="http://protonmail.com/">protonmail.com</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is free unless you want to use a custom domain. &nbsp;</p>
<p>If you don&rsquo;t care about governments but you care about hackers, then Gmail, Apple or Microsoft Outlook emails with Two-Factor authentication turned on is acceptable.&nbsp;&nbsp; Each will allow you to use your custom domain name for a monthly or yearly fee.</p>
<p>If all you care about is having a custom email for your domain, and comfortable with just using a strong password, then cheaper is better as long as it is reliable.&nbsp;&nbsp; Many times, the registrar you used to purchase your domain will have deals for you.</p>
<p><a href="http://enom.com/">Enom.com</a>:&nbsp;&nbsp;$1 per month<br /><a href="http://godaddy.com/">Godaddy.com</a>:&nbsp;&nbsp;$3.50 per month<br /><a href="http://namecheap.com/">Namecheap.com</a>:&nbsp;&nbsp;$10 per year</p>
<p>Stay away from Yahoo, which have already been hacked twice with all user accounts stolen. &nbsp; And if you already use Yahoo, change your password immediately and move to another provider as fast as you can.</p>

<p>If you built a site on Profit Platform and you are trying to access it, then go here:</p>
<p><a href="https://www.profitplatform.com/my-account/">https://www.profitplatform.com/my-account/</a></p>
<p>Once here you can use the link&nbsp;in the top menu&nbsp;labeled "My Sites"&nbsp;as this will list all current sites you own. From there you can login to your website by clicking the link for the one you want to access.</p>
<p>If the site is not yet complete you can use the login link to check the progress of the site build.</p>
<p>Note that until you add your permanent domain, the URL for accessing your site will end in profitplatform.com. But in either case, you can always add /wp-admin to the end of your URL to get to the login page. So if your site is rubberducky.com or rubberducky.profitplatform.com, then you can login using rubberducky.com/wp-admin/ or rubberducky.profitplatform.com/wp-admin, respectively.</p>
<h2>Logging Into Your Website</h2>
<p>The email and password to your website will be the same as the one you set up when you purchased profitplatform.com to begin with.&nbsp; If you are a Jobcrusher.com customer, it will be those same credentials.&nbsp; Either way, you can recover your password easily by following these directions to reset it:</p>
<p>1. Go to your website and add /wp-login.php to the end.&nbsp; (For example, if you site is rubberducky.com, go to rubberducky.com/wp-login.php)</p>
<p>2. Click the "Lost your password?" link below the login form.&nbsp;&nbsp; This will send you an email with a link that you click on which will allow you to reset it.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here are the common problems when you try to build your site and what to do about it:</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>"Password failed for CloudFlare account. Try again or reset your password."</strong></h3>
<p>When we build your site for the Profit Platform, we also give you and setup a cloudflare.com account. &nbsp; This isn't anything you need to worry or do anything about - we handle it for you. &nbsp; But sometimes, someone may ALREADY have a Cloud Flare account for their email. &nbsp; In that case, Cloud Flare won't allow&nbsp;us to use it&nbsp;unless the password you put matches your Cloud Flare password.</p>
<p>In that case, you need to check the box on the form next to where it says "Optional: Do you have a cloudflare.com account?" &nbsp; Then you can use your Cloud Flare email and password which may be different than the one you want to use for your website.</p>
<p>If you don't know the password, you can go to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cloudflare.com/a/forgot-password ">https://www.cloudflare.com/a/forgot-password </a>to recover it. &nbsp; If you don't know what domain you added to Cloud Flare, you can try leaving that blank.</p>
<p>If you don't know the password, and Cloud Flare won't let you set a new password because you don't remember the domain you added to it, then you will either need to call them or use a separate email when you build your website with us.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>"...is not a valid name for a website. You can use letters (abc), numbers (123) and dashes/hyphens (---). Spaces are not allowed and the domain can't begin or end with a dash."</strong></h3>
<p>These are the rules when trying to buy or setup a domain name. The internet registry doesn't allow certain sets of numbers or symbols in domain names.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>The username already exists tied to a different email account. Either choose a different username or use the same email it was originally used with.</strong></h3>
<p>If you a certain no one else is using the username you are trying to use, make sure you use the same email as you did the first time. If not, just change the username to something more unique.</p>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are making cosmetic changes to your website,&nbsp;but when you go to your live site they don't show up, this article is for you.</p>
<p>Your website uses several levels of "caching" which&nbsp;essentially allows it to save the web pages ahead of time, so that it can serve them quicker for the next visitors instead of having to do costly and lengthly work behind the scenes to assemble it from scratch.</p>
<p>So if&nbsp;you make a change to the background color, the service that is doing the caching may not realize it, and continue to serve the old background color to you and your visitors instead of building the page newly.</p>
<p>If this is happening to you, there is a solution.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Cloudflare</h3>
<p>The&nbsp;main service we use for caching is Cloudflare. &nbsp;Cloudflare is not on our server - it sits between the server&nbsp;and your visitors. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Go to the administrative area of your website (yourdomain.com/wp-admin/) and look in the left sidebar and click on Settings -&gt; Cloudflare. &nbsp;Once you click on&nbsp;that page, you should see a spinning wheel in the middle of the screen while Cloudflare is loading.</p>
<p>Click on the "Home" logo&nbsp;at the top of the page. &nbsp;(Follow the first image below). &nbsp; Then&nbsp;turn ON&nbsp;Automatic Cache Management lower on the page. &nbsp; That should handle most of the issues moving forward.</p>
<p>In addition, if you are planning on taking your time and making a lot of changes to your site all at once, you can follow the second image below and click on Settings and then turn on Development Mode. &nbsp; This turns off all caching for a few hours. &nbsp; It will automatically turn itself off. &nbsp; This will allow you to see any changes you make right away.</p>
<p>Later on, if you find that this happens again, you can always go back in and turn back on Development Mode.</p>
